In your incoming mail, WriteThat.Name detects the items that may expand your Gmail address book (e.g. phone or fax numbers, email addresses, titles etc.). If any such details are found, an email is sent to you at the end of the day to review all the contacts that may be created or updated. You can then compare with the existing contact in your address book to appreciate the relevancy of WriteThat.Name. You can also choose to let the system update your address book automatically.
Note: we never delete any data.

WriteThat.Name works with Gmail and Google Apps.
The address book is updated immediately if you selected auto-update. If you prefer to approve suggested updates manually, the update will be done when you click the CHECK button in the email report that you receive.
The service works for messages in French and in English. Support for other languages will be added over time.
No download or installation is required to use the service. WriteThat.Name is based on 'cloud' architecture. Only your email address is required in order to activate your account.
WriteThat.Name uses OpenID and Oauth to access your account. We never ask for or save your password.
WriteThat.Name updates your Gmail address book. By setting up synchronization between your mailbox and your phone, updates will be transferred automatically to your iPhone, Blackberry or Android SmartPhone.
No human reads your mail. A computer program receives a copy of your incoming mail. Our detection system looks through your messages to find contact details and link them to a signature. Once analyzed, the copies are immediately and automatically deleted. We do not keep or archive any mail. Respect for your privacy is our absolute priority.
Everything is automatic, you don't need to do anything for the system to work. The detected contact details are submitted to you via an email report that you can validate to update your address book.
This is probably because your Google Apps domain has not yet been transitioned by Google. Pending this transition, you will not be able to edit contacts directly from our interface, however you can still use WriteThat.Name.
